This event just popped up on my radar, and it looks mighty interesting. I will certainly be heading along to the vintage fair and fashion show on the Monday, hope to see you there!
Sunday 6th (1.30-5pm) and Monday 7th (10am-5pm)
Both days: Meet Doris Dinsdale the Wartime Housewife and find out about life on the home front during WW2 (in the Old Kitchen; 10.30-1pm and 2-4.30pm).
Make do and take a gas mask box or corsage and join in with our Knit one for Worcester knitting project
(in the Food Room – G22)
Spot the Spitfire with our high-flying trail around the building (collect from Reception/Shop)
See a variety of wartime vehicles and costumed characters in the Gardens (weather permitting) and around the building,

Between 2-4pm Visit the Fashion Clinic in the Dressing Up Room (F16) and meet authors Jo Waterhouse and Clare Bridge as they sign copies of their new book “Wearable Vintage Fashion”. On sale in our shop NOW!

See “Fashion on a Ration” 40s fashion shows at 1.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm (Great Hall)
Hear the fabulous Worcester Ukulele Band perform at 1.10pm, 2.10pm (Great Hall) and 2.50pm (Courtyard – weather permitting)
